Have you ever noticed when you’re talking to a family member or a close friend, and you mention a significant other one of the first things they say is, “Do they treat you well?” I know they’re looking out for you but do they really think you’re going to say no? Like, “No, they treat me like crap actually. But you know what I’m going to stick it out anyway, because you know… it’s just a phase.”
LOL…. Right.
On my way home today, and just out of the back mountain I passed a bill board that says “Meet Doug” and a rather large picture of a man whom I’m assuming was Doug. Nothing too surprising by this, but I was driving too fast to see the rest of the bill board to determine why this advertisement was insistent on me meeting this man. BUT, I couldn’t help but think, what if I don’t want to meet Doug. Maybe I thought he looked creepy and would rather walk away. BUT now thanks to this bill board I no longer have that option.
Instead I’m left with this odd image of a man smiling as if he’s waiting for the crowd of people to say, “HI Doug!” in unison like they do in those self help groups (Honestly, i have no clue if they really do that or now. But they do that on TV. 
)
How many more food records can we break and still leave parts of the world starving.
Ok, I understand transportation may be an issue, but how cool would it be to see a helicopter lowering a giant cookie into the middle of a village. Sure, they’d all get cavities, BUT they would have food.

In my stumbles last night, I happened across the coolest thing. Newspaper Blackout Poems. Yes, I know. Inquiring minds would like to know what they are, and why I find them so fascinating.
First, the creator behind these poems is Austin Kleon. He’s a writer and cartoonist. Pretty much he takes the newspaper and a sharpie, then blacks out everything except a few select words. The result is poem. I think they not only look cool, but it’s pretty good poetry too. I find myself scroll through all the posts reading them all. I don’t know if you’ll like ‘em, but i do.
Sure bing leaning tower, what does everyone do? Get in that famous pic where you’re either trying to hold it up or push it over. I’d be the one to take a pic like this one. The one of all the goofs posing for their photos boring pics.
What I’d really like to see is someone getting extra creative with the photo. Like find a way to make it look like you’re pulling it over with only a rope. OOoooo or maybe kicking it over, or a sneeze, maybe. How bout you try eating it like a hoagie (or sub for those of you not from this area)!
