The concert Friday was really cool. It was my first Blue Man Group concert, but I was very impressed. I’ll admit I was a little confused at first by the opening act “Mike Realm” but he was pretty cool. Overall, I had fun, and want to go back again.

Carrie Underwood and Josh Turner Concert
So yesterday was the Carrie Underwood and Josh Turner concert. I took my mom to see it, and we both had fun. The concert was great, especially considering she was getting over a cold. This was also the opening date for her tour. This would be Miss Carrie’s first tour where she’s the headliner. But she did an awesome job as did Mr. Turner.
The seats we had were great. We were 3 rows from the floor, and we weren’t a complete side view of the stage. It was great. But we did have this obnoxious chick behind us that just kept talking. Apparently she only went to see Josh Turner. So after he left the stage her mouth didn’t stop. She finally left about 1/2 way through. Everyone was happy then.
Anyway, here are some pictures. Yes you know and event I go to won’t get blogged with out pictures.
Showing My Country Side: The Benton Rodeo
Well yesterday was my family’s annual trip to the Benton Rodeo. Yes I know. In the words of Tommy (My cousin’s boyfriend.), “Why would I want to go and see a bunch of horses?”
But I love it. My parents use to take me to this rodeo in NJ called the Cowtown Rodeo. I used to love going there. We always had a routine of seeing a Phillies game Friday night, driving to Woodstown NJ, getting a hotel. Saturday was Chinese and the Rodeo. Then Sunday we’d come home. Now this one brings back those memories.
Anyway, I took the day off work Friday, which was nice. I was able to to just relax most of the day. We then went down to the rodeo. I didn’t get to talk much to anyone, but that’s okay because I was in the events.
After the rodeo they had their fireworks. They have it every year on the Friday night event. They are always awesome. This year they lasted about 15-20 minutes. We moved our car up closer than we normally do, which put us right under them. It was awesome. I really love those ones that explode really really big, and look like they are going to fall right around you. Although, this time all the ashes really were. Anyway, had a great time, can’t wait til next year.
Oh, and here are some pictures. (They aren’t very good, I know. It’s hard to take a picture of an animal running like this. Plus the lighting… ick.)

“I’m a Happy Girl”
Well, tonight was the night I’ve waited for since March. The Martina McBride/Little Big Town concert. Oh WOW! Did I ever have a great time. I went with my mommy. It was a great night out. We both left work early – yay for that.
We went for dinner ahead of time. Then, we went to the concert. Little Big Town was good. The played for an hour. I wanted to pick up their cd before tonight so I knew a little bit more of their music. But it worked out okay anyway.
Then after a short intermission, Ms. Martina McBride took the stage. She looked as beautiful as ever. She sang some of her older songs and my favorites; which included Broken Wing, Concrete Angel, Happy Girl, This One’s For the Girls, and Wild Angels. It was a great night and it really helped to relax the crazy stress I’ve been under. Anyway, I’m off to bed cause I’m exhausted. But first, I’ll leave you with 2 pics of the beautiful Ms. Martina McBride from tonights concert.
WWE: My first live broadcasted event.
Today WWE hosted RAW from the Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre. My company had tickets for sale, and since Eric wanted to go… I got tickets. Now, I wouldn’t say I’m a huge fan of wrestling. I like RAW and I’ve begun to really like some of the characters.
Tonights show was the draft. Which means I got really lucky. They had the superstars from all 3 shows: RAW, Smackdown, and ECW. A first I thought I’d probably be bored with it, but honestly I had an awesome time. The reason I went… Mr. John Cena lost his match to Edge. Which paints a bad picture, Edge really didn’t win. Cena got counted out for begin out of the ring. But unfortunately it was the first aired match and it also gave Smackdown the first pick of the draft. But, He still did well.
