Happy Turkey Day!

A lot has changed for me over the past year, this I realized at dinner tonight. There were a few people missing this year from our table, but only one was missed by everyone, and I was missing another. This is going to sound like it’s out of a movie but i really believe the holidays are about family. So when 2 people that mean so much to me aren’t there, it hurts.

Anyway, i know i said I wanted to wait on the decorations. I really only wanted to wait on the outside decorations. Inside I always start on Turkey Day, and I did the same thing today. Bummed I didn’t get to watch all of the dog show. But luckily the toy group was first so i got to see them at least.

Christmas is on it’s way – but it’s not here yet

Apparently, my brothers and sisters apparently have decided among themselves to help my mom and I decorate for Christmas. I guess they think we aren’t going to decorate this year. I’m absolutely ready to start decorating, and i’d love the help for outside. But I’d rather wait until after Thanksgiving is over.

Is that wrong?

There really is a Santa Claus

According to the Almight Wikipedia, there’s actually an address where you can send a letter to Santa Claus. They take every letter they get and reply back – and in the language they were written. How COOL? I think it’s such a great idea. I wish I knew about it when I was little. I for sure would’ve sent my letter off to Santa Claus.
Just in case anyone was curious and wanted to write to Mr Claus. Here’s the address:
