Update from Neppy

Neppy up close

Hello everyone,

My Kimmi had a VERY rough day at work tonight, but she wanted to update you on what’s going with me. So she let me have the keyboard. :)

She told me she told everyone about my boo boo tail. And I just wanted to say thank you for all of your well wishes. My mommy and Kimmi have been taking care of me real well.

 They took the tissue off my tail Monday night. Boy did that hurt, but they made it up to me by giving me ice cream. Yep, they got these really good dixie cup ones; they’re like little sundae’s. Of course I only get the strawberry ones, after all chocolate isn’t good for dogs.  At least that what my Kimmi tells me every time I try to have some of her’s. But I think she just tells me that so I eat the strawberry, cause she doesn’t like it.

Oh, and I have these girls trained, and quick to. All I need to do is eat my dinner quickly, and sit by them with my ears down, and they give me ice cream. It’s great. I got ice cream the past 3 nights. You other dogs should try it, but don’t tell Kimmi my secret. K?

Back to my tail, it’s getting a little better every day. I still have the stuff in my tail, but the groomer lady told them not toNeppy side view
wash it for a couple days. My mommy said maybe they’ll try to wash it tomorrow. Hopefully it just my tail, I don’t want another bath.

So that’s what’s new with me. I’ve included a new picture to the left, so you can see 2 things: my new hair cut, and that I still have my tail.

 Ok, well, it’s getting close to my bed time. So I’m going to go now. This was fun. Maybe my Kimmi will let me write again real soon.

More Tulips and the rough day for my puppy

So Friday at work I’m sitting there going through some emails, when Caroline brings a box over to my desk and sticks it on my over head cabinet. I look up, and it’s a 1800-flowers box. So, of course I got really interested. So I open the box. There’s a gorgeous vase and tulips inside. So, your probably wondering who from? They were from, Rob Greenhood at IOWebshop.com, one of my clients from a while ago. He absolutely loves working with me, and sent them as a thank you. Here’s what they look like now. Of course, they didn’t look like this when I got them, but they look awesome now.
 

Poor Joe, he got a little jealous…. it was cute though.

In other news, today was Neppy and Kasey’s day for their hair cut. Kasey looks very beautiful.

Neppy on the other hand, hasn’t had good luck with that place. We’ll skip all the other screw ups, and we’ll talk about this one. They were suppose to go yesterday, but the groomer said her furnace went and she didn’t have hot water. So, she said she’d do the appointment today instead. So, my mom and I drop them off. An hour and a half later, we get a call saying she cut Neppy. And it wasn’t that bad, but she wanted us to know. So, we went to pick them up, and the poor guy, she nipped the curly q at the end of his tail with her blade. She felt horrible. She apologized a lot, and did a good job of keeping it clean and dry. Anyway, Neppy’s getting better since this afternoon. But he’s still hiding under my mom’s bed.


You can see the tissue he has stuck to his tail. The poor little guy. I offered to give him a tulip, but he didn’t want it. So we gave him ice cream instead. :)

Carrie Underwood and Josh Turner Concert

So yesterday was the Carrie Underwood and Josh Turner concert. I took my mom to see it, and we both had fun. The concert was great, especially considering she was getting over a cold.  This was also the opening date for her tour. This would be Miss Carrie’s first tour where she’s the headliner. But she did an awesome job as did Mr. Turner.

The seats we had were great. We were 3 rows from the floor, and we weren’t a complete side view of the stage. It was great. But we did have this obnoxious chick behind us that just kept talking. Apparently she only went to see Josh Turner. So after he left the stage her mouth didn’t stop. She finally left about 1/2 way through. Everyone was happy then. :)

Anyway, here are some pictures. Yes you know and event I go to won’t get blogged with out pictures. :)

I gots a tulip

img089.jpgMy desk at work is very warmly decorated with this lovely tulip. Mr Dawe was very quick to rescue the poor thing. It was being cut off from food and water. So he rescued it, and we gave it a home in an M&M mini’s tube on my desk.

Happy Tulip! Happy Happy Tulip! I should name it. hmmmm, maybe Phillip. Phillip the Tulip. That’s nice. :)
